I got mine both full size version and the mini version, once tried to apply BB cream (I don't think it's good enough since I used Pixy BB cream; I can't say it's neither the BB cream nor the brush which made me look cakey). Therefore, I think this brush works best as it says on the packaging for mineral powder/powder foundation.
