I’ve always loved oriental perfumes and frankincense is one of my favorite notes. The frankincense in Annick Goutal Encens Flamboyant is slightly smoky, warm, exotic and is perfectly blended with the other notes – pepper, roseberry, cardamom, sage, nutmeg “old church” incense, absolute essence of mastic tree and balsam fir. It works like magic on my skin chemistry and even though the sillage is quite strong, I am never annoyed with its consistent presence. I am happy to smell it all day and all night, and because of its impressive lasting power, I can do that. This is the perfect fragrance for those who are planning to seduce someone, paired with silk, seductive music and lots of candles.
